Early in high school, Jason played the nasty little brother on Nickelodeon’s pilot program “Clarissa Explains Everything” (1991). Once the show was selected for a long run, a scheduling conflict arose between recording the show in Orlando and attending high school, with Jason attending an all-girls school near his home. Two and a half years later, Jason was ready to leave the nest for college in South Bend, Indiana. After college, Zibler played Robert Anderson in 1989’s Shenandoah Revival. He also directs and assists theatre productions in New York City, including frequent participation in the Impetuous Theatre Company. Zombler received the Burleigh Grime$ 2006 Observation by the Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers and was selected to participate in the Director’s Lab at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in 2007. Additionally, he spent eight years as an educator and theater program leader at Buck’s Rock Performance and Creative Arts Camp. In late 2007, Jason Zibler and Sam Kusnets founded the theater company The Re-Theatre Instrument in Portland, Oregon. Under Ziebler’s direction, The Re-Theatre Instrument recreates such classics as Faust, King Lear and Much Ado About Nothing.
