Jason Oppenheim was born in Palo Alto, California in April 1977 and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley and the University of California, Berkeley School of Law.
Today, Oppenheim is the President and Founder of Oppenheim Group Real Estate Brokerage Company in Los Angeles, California. Starting in 2019, he and his real estate agent have appeared in the Netflix reality TV series “Selling Sunset”. Jason Oppenheim was named one of the best real estate agents in the U.S. in 2019 by the Wall Street Journal and the number one agent/Sunset Boulevard in the Hollywood Hills. From 2003 to 2007, he was an attorney for O’Melveny & Myers. His clients include well-known celebrities such as Kris Humphries, Orlando Bloom, Chloe Grace Moretz, Taye Diggs, Dakota Johnson, Jessica Alba, etc.

In 2012, Jason spent $4.6 million to buy a house in the Hollywood Hills. He then spent millions on various dramatic renovations and upgrades. There is an 85-inch TV valued at $65,000 in his living room. He listed the house for the first time in August 2019 for $7.25 million. Instead of finding a buyer, he chose to rent it out at a price of $50,000 per month.
In October 2020, Jason spent US$5.125 million to purchase a new house in Los Angeles.
In November 2021, he spent $7 million to purchase a 12,500 square foot home in Newport Beach, California. He owns a slightly rudimentary house in the area, which he bought in April 2021 for US$2.8 million.
