Jason Momoa is an American actor, director, producer and model. He played “Ronon Dex” in the Stargate Atlantis series and “Khal Drogo” in Game of Thrones. His film works include Conan the Barbarian (2011) and the upcoming Justice League (2017) and Aquaman (2018). Momoa was born on August 1, 1979 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He is the only child. His mother Kony was a photographer, and his father Joseph was a painter. He was mainly raised by his mother in Norwalk, Iowa. Momoa studied marine biology at Des Moines Regional Community College. He transferred to Colorado State University, majoring in wildlife biology. He also studied briefly at the University of Hawaii.
