Idris Elba is an English actor, rapper, singer and DJ. He is known for shows such as Family Affairs, The Wire and Luther. His film works include Thor (2010), Pacific Rim (2013) and Mandela: The Long Road to Freedom (2013). Elba was born in Hackney, London on September 6, 1972, his original name is Idrissa Akuna Elba.
