Hulk Hogan is a professional wrestler, actor and reality TV star. He was born on August 11, 1953 in Augusta, Georgia, his original name is Terry Gene Bollea. His father “Pete” is a construction foreman, and his mother “Ruth” is a housewife and dance instructor. Hogan and his family moved to the Port of Tampa, Florida when he was a toddler. He attended Robinson High School, where he became interested in wrestling very early. He studied briefly at Hillsboro Community College and then at the University of South Florida. Hogan dropped out of school before completing his degree. He formed the local band “Ruckus” in 1976. He eventually quit the band and switched to a career in wrestling.

Hogan made his wrestling debut in 1977. His first professional championship was the NWA Southeast Heavyweight Championship in 1979. Hogan’s stage performance and construction attracted the attention of WWF owner “Vince McMahon”. He has the opportunity to join WWF. Hogan participated in WWF/E, WCW, TNA, Wrestlemania and Starrcade. He won the Royal Battle in 1990 and 1991 consecutively. Hogan has won six WWF/E and six WCW World Heavyweight Championships. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2005.
In 1982, Hogan made his debut as “Thunderlips” in Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky III. Subsequently, he played “Rip Thomas” in the 1989 action film “Infernal Affairs Imprisonment”. Other film appearances include Suburban Commando, Mr. Nanny, Muscle Santa, and the TV series “Thunder of Heaven.” Hogan launched his own reality show Hogan Knows Best on VH1 in 2005. The show lasted for four seasons until it was cancelled in 2007.
