In the second issue, the company logo showing a rabbit wearing a tuxedo and bow tie was introduced. Playboy has since grown into a multi-million dollar company. The brand went public in the 1970s and now features hotels, resorts, model agencies, and nightclubs. Over the years, it has featured many female celebrities, including Pamela Anderson, Drew Barrymore, Madonna, Cindy Crawford, Kim Kardashian and Kate Moss.
Hefner hosted the TV series “Playboy’s Attic” (1959-60) and “Playboy After Dark” (1969-70). Guests on these shows include Nina Simone, James Brown, Ella Fitzgerald and Milton Berle. Hefner appeared in the reality show “The Girl Next Door” on Channel E! The internet. The show was co-authored with producer Kevin Burns. It features Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson. A total of 6 seasons were broadcast from August 2005 to August 2010. Hefner has guest appearances in movies such as The House Bunny (2008), Beverly Hills Cop II (1987) and Bettie Page Reveals All (2012). He appeared in TV shows such as “Sex and the City”, “Entourage” and “Suppress Your Enthusiasm”.
