Halsey is an American singer and songwriter. In 2015, she released her first album “Badlands”. This album is ranked No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. Ashley Nicolette Frangipane was born on September 29, 1994 in Edison, New Jersey. Her father, Chris Frangipane, runs a car dealership, and her mother, Nicole, works in security at a hospital. Halsey has two younger brothers. She has played violin, viola and cello since she was a child. At the age of 14, she started playing acoustic guitar.
