Hailey Parsons Net Worth: Hayley Parsons is a British businesswoman who has a net worth of $142.5 million. She built her fortune as the founder of Gocompare.com, a UK financial services comparison site that makes detailed comparisons of vehicles, homes, pet insurance providers and anything else you can name.
A Welsh native, she left school at 16 with six GCSEs (General Certificate of Secondary Education; pupils are usually between the ages of 8 and 10) because she felt she could do a lot outside of school. Since then, she has been involved in the insurance industry. She worked for the Admiral in Cardiff for fourteen years. Admiral created Confused.com, a price comparison site. Parsons worked her way up the corporate ladder until she became the second-highest job at Confused Web Operations. Parsons decided to quit confused.com and went ahead with its own insurance price comparison site, with additional features that included not only prices but also the features of comparing products. That’s how she started GoCompare.com in 2006. GoCompare.com is the only price comparison website invited to become a member of the British Insurance Brokers Association (BIBA). The site is funded by insurance industry veteran Tom Duggan. Since its inception, Parsons has grown from strength to strength, delivering over 2 million quotes per month. Parson wanted to hire someone who could leave her mark on the site’s advertising, so in 2009 she hired Wynne Evans, the Welsh tenor who played the fictional Italian tenor GioCompario. After the ad was aired, it was voted the “Most Exciting Ad” by the British twice. With determination, this did not affect Parsons’ website and continued to grow and generate substantial revenue. Hayley Parsons was awarded an OBE in 2012 for her many achievements.
