What is the net worth of Gucci Mane?
Gucci Mane (real name Radric Davis) is an American rapper with a net worth of US$14 million. Gucci Mane has been writing poetry since he was a child and started rap at the age of 14. Together with other Atlanta rappers TI and Young Jeezy, he helped pioneer the hip-hop sub-genre of hip-hop music, especially in the 2000s and 2010s. Mane released his first album “Trap House” in 2005. Mane is followed by “Hard to Kill” in 2006, then “Trap-A-Thon” and “Back to the Trap House” in 2007.
early life
Radric Delantic Davis was born on February 12, 1980 in Bessemer, Alabama. When he was born, his father fled the police for trafficking in cocaine and heroine and lived in Detroit, Michigan. Davis was raised by his grandmother, and his mother was in college. Mane was introduced to rap and hip-hop by his half-brother Victor when he was young, and Victor took him to the Run-DMC, Beastie Boys and LL Cool J concerts. In 1989, Mane and his mother moved to Atlanta. He grew up in an area with a high crime rate. Mane became a drug dealer in junior high school. He used his eighth grade Christmas money to buy cocaine and sell it to others.
Mane was a good student in high school and was very popular among his peers. Despite having a side job as a drug dealer, Mane did not take drugs in the first few years of his transaction. In 1995, Mane had been selling drugs for two years when someone stopped him on his bicycle and robbed him with a gun to his head. After that, he began to carry a pistol. Mane graduated from high school with a 3.0 GPA in 1998 and received scholarships from surrounding colleges in Georgia. In 2001, he was caught by a plainclothes policeman who had cocaine and was expelled from the university. He was sentenced to a 90-day county jail and probation.

After his first arrest, Mane began to take music seriously. He released an album called La Flare, which was released through 1,000 CDs he released in East Atlanta. Mane collaborated with Young Jeezy, called “So Icy”, released through Tommy Boy Records. In 2005, Mane released his independent debut album “Trap House”. The album entered the top 20 of the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop album chart and reached the top of the Billboard Heatseekers album chart. His second album, Hard to Kill, was subsequently released in 2006. Including the popular single “Freaky Gurl”, which ranked 12th in popular rap tracks. Mane released the studio album The State vs. Radric Davis in 2010.
Gucci Mane and Rae Sremmurd co-produced the single “Black Beatles”. It was released in November 2016 and topped the song charts—not just R&B, hip-hop or rap songs—all songs. This is Mane’s first single as a featured artist. It remained at the top of the rankings for seven consecutive weeks at the end of 2016 and the beginning of 2017.
Gucci Mane performed at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and shocked the audience when he brought out P Diddy and surprised the audience.
In the fall of 2017, he released “The Autobiography of Gucci Mane”.

In 2007, he founded his own record company 1017 Records. He has worked with artists such as Drake, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Selena Gomez, Mariah Carey and Marilyn Manson. personal life
Gucci Mane married Keyshia Ka’oir on October 17, 2017. The wedding was paid for by BET. BET produced a 10-episode TV series called “The Mane Event”, which showcased Ka’oir organizing the wedding and finally walked down the carpet aisle full of diamonds. After performing in a basketball game with the Atlanta Hawks, Mane proposed to Kaor.
In his autobiography, he revealed that he had a son who was born in 2007, and he didn’t know it until 2016.
Legal Issues
In 2001, Mane was arrested on charges of cocaine. He was sentenced to 90 days in prison.
In May 2005, he was attacked by a group of men in a house in Decatur, Georgia. Mane and his friends shot and killed one person at the group. The man’s body was later found behind a middle school. He surrendered and was charged with murder. He claimed that he shot in self-defense. The murder charge against him was dropped in January 2006. In October of last year, Mane did not file any defense against allegations of serious attacks on the nightclub owner last summer. When the murder charge was dropped, Mane served six months in prison for the assault. He was released from prison in late January 2006. Mane did not complete community service time after being convicted in 2005 for violating probation, so he served one year in prison. He was released in May 2010.
Since 2010, Mane has been arrested and imprisoned many times. As of early 2020, his last release from prison was in 2016.
Previous money issues
In November 2013, Gucci Mane filed a lawsuit against his former agent Debra Antney and her son, Waka Flocka Flame, also a rapper. In the lawsuit, Gucci claimed that Debra and Waka robbed him while he was their client. Gucci claimed that Debra stole the jewelry and mismanaged his royalties and assets. Gucci told the court that he was almost bankrupt and there were some serious IRS issues that needed to be dealt with.
