Glenn Beck is an American television and radio host, producer, author, entrepreneur and CEO of Mercury Radio Arts. He is best known for hosting the conservative Glenn Baker talk show on radio and television. Baker was born on February 10, 1964, in Everett, Washington, to Mary and William. He is one of three children. Baker grew up in Mount Vernon, Washington. After his mother died, he was forced to move to Bellingham, Washington, to live with his father. There, he attended Sehome High School.

Baker got his first live job as a guest DJ at a local radio station. After high school, he worked briefly at KAYK Radio in Provo, Utah, and later at WPGC in Washington, D.C. Baker was lead DJ at WRKA in Louisville, Kentucky from 1985 to 1987. He has since worked for stations such as Y-95 (Phoenix), KRBE (Houston), B104 (Baltimore) and KC101 (New Haven). The Glenn Beck show premiered on WFLA (AM) in 2000. The show began in 2002 with multiple stations syndicated by Premiere Radio Networks. Baker ranks among top radio personalities such as Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity.
Baker founded the multimedia platform company Mercury Radio Arts in 2002. He is also the founder of “Mercury One” and “TheBlaze Studios”. Glenn Beck TV has aired on CNN (2006-08), Fox News (2009-11) and TheBlaze (2011-present).
