Early life and career
Giorgio A. Tsoukalos was born in Lucerne, Switzerland in 1978. He is of Greek-Austrian descent. As a young man, he attended Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York, where he graduated in 1998 with a BA in Communication. Over the years, he has worked as a bodybuilding promoter and volunteer at bodybuilding competitions, including Mr. Olympia. From 2001 to 2005, Tsoukalos produced and directed the annual San Francisco Pro Grand Prix, a competition administered by the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness.

In 2014, Su Carlos served as the host of the short-lived H2 series Finding Aliens.
