The Houston Oilers selected Walker with the 159th overall pick in the fifth round of the 1995 NFL Draft. Walker was a defensive lineman who played for the Houston and then the Tennessee Oilers until 1998. Walker joined the Jacksonville Jaguars in 1999 until he signed with the Houston Texans in 2001. Walker ended his career with the Texans in 2005. The linebacker is a two-time Pro Bowl player, honored in 2001 and 2002, and recognized as an All-Pro in the 2002 season. He finished his career with 433 tackles and more than 46 quarterback sacks in 155 games. The end of Walker’s career was marred by several injuries. After the NFL re-expanded into the Houston area, he became the only player on the original Houston Oilers who was also a member of the Houston Texans. Walker now lives in northern Georgia.
