Anderson was born on June 30, 1972 in Los Angeles, California, and is best known as a left fielder in Major League Baseball. Anderson was a triple threat to baseball, basketball and football when he attended John F. Kennedy.
Kennedy High School and made his MLB debut on July 27, 1994 with the California Angels. He maintained a .293 batting average with 287 home runs and 2,529 hits for 1,365 at-bats. After the Angels, Anderson played for the Atlanta Braves and finally for the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2010. He was a three-time All-Star, a World Series champion in 2002, a two-time Silver Bar winner in 2002 and 2003, an MLB All-Star Game MVP in 2003, and a home run champion in the 2003 Derby. Anderson made his final MLB appearance with the Los Angeles Dodgers on August 6, 2010, and officially retired on March 1, 2011.
