G Herbo is an American rapper and songwriter. He was previously known by the stage name Lil Herb. His records include Ballin Like I’m Kobe (2015), Welcome to Fazoland (2014) and Humble Beast (2017). He is a member of the 2016 XXL Magazine Freshman Class. G Herbo was born Herbert Randall Wright on October 8, 1995 in Chicago, Illinois. He grew up near the town of Horror on Chicago’s South Shore.

G Herbo grew up listening to the likes of Gucci Mane, Lil Wayne and Young Jeezy. Some of his early projects include Road to Fazoland (2012) and Road 2 Riches (2013). G Herbo’s debut mixtape Welcome to Fazoland was released by Machine Entertainment Group in February 2014. It features cameos from Lil Bibby, Lil Reese and King Louie. This mixtape is a tribute to his dead friend Fazon Robinson, who was shot. G Herbo and Nicki Minaj collaborated on the 2014 single “Chiraq”. He has since collaborated with artists such as Common, Chance The Rapper and Lil Yachty.

G Herbo’s second mixtape, Pistol P Project, was released in December 2014. It features tracks such as “Where I Reside”, “Quick and Easy” and “Jugghouse”. His other mixtapes include Ballin Like I’m Kobe (2015) and Strictly 4 My Fans (2016). G Herbo signed with Cinematic Music Group in 2015. His debut studio album Humble Beast is scheduled to be released in 2017. The album’s first single, “Yeah I Know”, was released in March 2016. He also completed a collaborative project, No Limits, with Lil Bibby.
