Louis Rams selected him as an undrafted free agent in 1998 and made his team debut that same year. Fletcher went on to have one of the best careers of any UDFA, becoming one of only four players in league history to play more than 250 consecutive games. Fletcher played for the Rams until 2001, before joining the Buffalo Bills from 2002-2006 and later the Washington Redskins from 2007-2013. Fletcher was a professional bowler four times in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012; he was awarded All-Pro honors twice in 2011 and 2012. Fletcher was part of the XXXIV Super Bowl winning team and won two NFC championships in 1999 and 2001. At the time of his retirement, Fletcher held the record for most consecutive starts at a guard. He won the Bart Starr Person of the Year award in 2012 and joined the 20/20 club. In 2011, he was the Redskins’ Defensive Player of the Year.
