Faruk has a rich background with BA and MBA degrees from the prestigious German High School in Istanbul and the School of Management at the Technical University of Berlin. Faruk Eczacibasi is now the Vice Chairman of Eczacibasi Holding, where he is Head of Eczacıbaşı Information and Communication Technologies, Eczacıbaşı’s IT company, responsible for executing the group’s electronic transformation. The group, which holds interests in health, consumer goods, real estate and building materials companies and plans to expand into the mining industry, currently consists of 41 companies and employs 11,370 people.
