Erin Andrews is an American sports presenter, journalist and television personality. She is the current host of Fox College Football and ABC Dancing with the Stars. Andrews was born on May 4, 1978 in Lewiston, Maine. Her mother Paula is a teacher and her father Steven is a TV journalist. Her sister Kendra is a dancer and actress. Andrews grew up in Florida, where she attended Bloomingdale High School and the Brandon Academy of Dance and Arts. She completed her bachelor’s degree in telecommunications at the University of Florida in 2000.

Andrews began her career in 2000 as a freelance reporter for Fox Sports. She later worked at Sunshine Network (2001-2002) followed by Turner Southern Network (2002-2004). Andrews ran the ESPN network for eight years, from 2004 to 2012. There, she covered several shows, including ESPN National Hockey Night, College World Series and Major League Baseball. In 2012, Andrews parted ways with ESPN in an attempt to rejoin Fox Sports. She has hosted a range of events, including Fox College Football Kickoff and Saturday Fox College.
Andrews was the subject of a 2008 Nashville, Tennessee stalking incident. She was candidly photographed by stalkers as she dressed in a hotel room. The culprit, Michael David Barrett, was arrested and sentenced to three years in prison, three years probation and a fine. The lawsuit closed in 2016 and Erin Andrews was awarded $50 million in damages.
