Ephron Bata Reyes net worth

Efren Bata Reyes Net Worth: Efren Reyes is a Filipino professional billiards player who has a net worth of $2 million. Born in 1954 in Pampanga, Central Luzon, Ephron Reyes started playing at his uncle’s pool hall in Manila, even though he was too short to reach a pool table.

As a child, he took the nickname “Bata” to distinguish him from another older man, Efren, who would play pool in the hall. He was well known in the local community from a young age and traveled to America in the ’80s to trick unsuspecting billiard players. Soon, he started winning dozens of matches around the world, becoming one of the most recognizable players in the Philippines. In 1994, he won the U.S. Open nine-ball championship and was the first non-American to do so. Two years later, he took home $100,000 in a three-day tournament in Hong Kong. He won two world championships and topped the AZ pool money list five times between 2001 and 2006. In 1995, Billiards Digest magazine named him Player of the Year, and he was the first Asian to be inducted into the Billiards Conference American Hall of Fame. He has starred in several films, including “Nine Balls” and “Pakners.” Reyes and his wife Susan have three children together.
