Emma Stone is an American film and television actress. Her film credits include Crazy, Stupid, Love, The Help and The Amazing Spider-Man. Stone was born Emily Jane Stone on November 6, 1988, in Scottsdale, Arizona. Her mother, Christa, was a housewife and her father, Jeffrey, was a contractor. She has a younger brother named Spencer. Stone attended Xavier College Prep, an all-girls Catholic school. She dropped out of school before completing her diploma. She also took speech lessons as a child.

Stone made her debut as “The Otter” in the youth drama “The Wind in the Willows”. She was 11 at the time. Her stage credits also include Alice in Wonderland and The Princess and the Pea. Stone moved to Los Angeles in 2004 and joined the Screen Actors Guild soon after. In 2004, she participated in the VH1 reality show “Finding a New Partridge Family” and won a competition.
