Earl Anthony Net Worth: Earl Anthony is an American professional bowler who has a net worth of $5 million. Earl Anthony was born in Tacoma, Washington in April 1938 and died in August 2001. Anthony is a left-handed bowler who has won 41 titles and six bowler of the year awards on the PBA Tour.
His title count was revised to 43 in 2008 when the PBC selected the ABC Masters title won by a PBA member as the PBA Tour title. Anthony and Dick Webb are widely credited for raising the profile of bowling in the United States. Anthony was the first pitcher to make more than $100,000 in a single season in 1975, and in 1982 he became the first pitcher to make $1 million in lifetime earnings in the PBA. He tied Pete Webb with 10 career majors, including six PBA Nationals, two ABC Masters titles and two Firestone Championship titles. He was dubbed “The Earl of Fang” by other professional bowlers, and was often seen in flat-toe and plastic-framed spectacles. Earle was inducted into the PBA Hall of Fame and the ABC Hall of Fame. He was also a minor league baseball pitcher and an excellent golfer for the Baltimore Orioles. Earl Anthony passed away on August 14, 2001 at the age of 63.
