O’Riordan started her music career at Cranberry Saw Us (now The Cranberries) in the early 1990s. She replaced singer Neil Quinn as the lead singer of the band. The other members are Noel Hogan, Mike Hogan and Fergal Lawler. The Cranberry Band has sold more than 40 million records worldwide. Their first studio album “Everybody Else Is Doing It, So Why Can’t We?” was released by Island Records in March 1993. It ranks first in Ireland and the United Kingdom. It produced the singles “Dreams”, “Linger” and “Sunday”. They followed up on the album without arguing (1994), leaving faithfully (1996), burying the axe (1999) and waking up and smelling coffee (2001). Her second album “No Baggage” was released in August 2009. The album was produced by Canadian record producer Dan Brodbeck. O’Riordan appeared in Zucchero Fornaciari’s compilation Zu & Co. (2004).
