Deidra Roper, better known as DJ Spinderella, has an estimated net worth of $10 million. The DJ and rapper’s fortune skyrocketed, becoming a third of the all-girl hip-hop group Salt ‘N’ Pepa. The audition will replace DJ Latoya Hanson, with hundreds of people coming in for the DJ role. When Deidra was selected to be part of the all-female rap show, she won the big prize, beating out TV personality Wendy Williams. At the age of 16, Deidra took the stage name Spinderella when the band released their first album. There was one setback—because she was a minor at the time, Daedra needed her parents’ permission to tour the country. Beginning in 2007, Deidra was a regular on VH1’s The Salt ‘N’ Pepa Show, which detailed the trio’s life after becoming the biggest female rap show. The reality show ended the following year (2008). Deidra now works for Radio One Inc in TX and occasionally DJs at club events across the United States.
