DJ Rell Ruger is an American hip-hop/rap music producer and CEO of Wire City Music Group. He is famous for his “Cakemix” mixtape series. Rell is produced for the late rappers Stack Bundles and G-unit South. He also collaborates with current recording artists such as Pusha T, Dave East, Don Q and DJ Luke Nasty. Rell was born Anthony Terrell Alexander on June 26, 1979 in Baltimore, Maryland.

Rell started as a local Dj in the early 90s and sold mixed tapes. He was one of the first people in the school to buy his own professional Dj and studio equipment. He was only 16 years old at the time. Rell eventually expanded to music production. He often drove from Baltimore to New York City to buy his beats. His determination prompted him to record records with Jim Jones artist Stack Bundles. The tragedy happened in June 2007 when the rapper Stack Bundles was shot and killed outside his home in Queens, New York.

After a long hiatus, Rell returned to the music industry and worked with many of today’s top hip-hop artists. In 2017, he produced “Made It Worse” for Dave East, “Oh You Da Plug” for Don Q, and “Exit 26” for DJ Luke Nasty. Rell is the CEO of the publishing company Wire City Music Group. The platform enables him to collaborate with artists and songwriters on various projects and TV soundtracks. DJ Rell Ruger has thousands of subscribers on YouTube and more than 2.5 million views. He also shares his music/beats via SoundCloud, Instagram and Twitter.
