DJ Blitz (born March 5, 1994) is the host of Radio Canada and a DJ from Winnipeg, Manitoba. DJ Blitz has been opened to some big-name entertainers in the entertainment industry including Lil Jon. He was also selected as one of the DJs for Rihanna’s 2016 VIP party at Bell MTS Place. Blitz was listed as one of Winnipeg’s top ten social media influencers by’klear’ and was selected as the runner-up of the “Most Popular Local DJ” in The Uniter in 2018. He has also received multiple Winnipeg nightlife award nominations, such as “DJ of the Year” and “Best Social Media Performance”. DJ Blitz had the honor to interview many celebrities, including Lights from Portugal. Men, Chantel Jeffries, Scott Herman and Felix Qatar.

After graduating from high school in 2012, Blitz studied for a year of general education at the University of Manitoba and then transferred to the University of Winnipeg for a business degree. He graduated in 2017 with a 5-year bachelor’s degree in business administration, majoring in human resources and marketing. During college, Blitz became interested in mixed music and became a self-taught DJ. He started his career as a DJ for weddings and social occasions, and then entered many of the most popular clubs in the city. His mix was broadcast on commercial radio and was welcomed by radio audiences.

In 2018, Blitz signed with Bell Media and accepted the position of weekend host of 103.1 Virgin Radio (Winnipeg’s number one popular music station), which airs on Saturday and Sunday from 12-6 pm. The show is broadcast in Manitoba to hundreds of thousands and across Canada through the iHeart radio app. DJ Blitz started working on radio. The combination of social media and radio gave him many opportunities in Manitoba, including being invited to host various events in the city and province.

In 2019, DJ Blitz received an interesting message on Twitter asking how many reposts he would need to do as a free DJ at the wedding. Blitz’s reply was 250K, and the screenshot was posted online.
