Shore has also won six Primetime Emmys and two Daytime Emmys during her career. She received three stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for Television, Recording and Radio. Dinah was married twice and had a daughter and an adopted son. Dinah Shore died on February 24, 1994, when she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer just five days before her 78th birthday.
