He played at Kathleen High School as a tight end, linebacker and long-range shooter. Clark played his college football at Wake Forest University, where he became the ACC’s all-time leader in receptions. He was selected by the Denver Broncos with the 179th overall pick in the 1999 NFL Draft and played for Denver from 1999-2001. Clarke played for the Miami Dolphins in 2002 and the Chicago Bears from 2003-2010. In 2005, he was selected as a Pro Bowl reserve. He started 88 Wayz, a nonprofit school program, in 2008. He is a broadcaster and hosts the Dez Clark & Alex Brown Show with former teammate Alex Brown. Clark now serves as a financial advisor and is president of the NFL Alumni Association for the Chicago chapter.
