From 2002 to 2004, the French starred in the Wild West series. She is best known for her roles in the comedy sketch series The French and Sanders from 1987 to 2005. The series A Bucket o’French & Saunders aired in 2007. The French also starred in the TV series Jam and Jerusalem, Lark Rises to Candleford, Psychoville, Roger and Val just came in, the comics presented…, Priest Dubley and the Wrong Man. French starred in the films The Adventures of Pinocchio, Milk, David Copperfield, Maybe Baby, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, Carlo Lynn and the Animal League. She has won a BAFTA and a British Comedy Award.
