Davido is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and music producer born in the United States. He broke out in 2011 with the hit single “Dami Duro”. His records include the albums Omo Baba Olowo (2012) and EP Son of Mercy (2016). Davido is the co-founder of HKN Music. He has produced music for Tiwa Savage, Skales, and Sauce Kid. The name, David Adelaide Adelaide, was born on November 21, 1992 in Atlanta, Georgia. His parents are Chief Deji and the late business tycoon Vero Adelaike, a university professor.
