A decade later, David Harding founded his investment management firm, Winton Capital Management, which has assets worth $1.6 million. Just three years later, the company’s average annual return is 18%, and it is said to hold $28.5 billion in assets as of February 2012. Today, Winton manages approximately $25 billion in assets and employs more than 270 people. Harding remains the company’s majority shareholder, and he has served as the company’s president since 2013.
