Danny Brown is an American rapper, known for his unique personality and sense of fashion. He made his mark in the music industry and released multiple mixtapes between 2007 and 2010. His studio albums include The Hybrid (2010), XXX (2011), Old (2013) and Atrocity Exhibition (2016). He won the 2013 Woody Awards for Best Video for “Growing Up”. Brown was born on March 16, 1981 in Detroit, Michigan, his original name is Daniel Dewan Sewell. His parents separated when he was a teenager. Brown started drug trafficking at the age of 18 and discovered his first case when he was 19. He has also violated the law many times. He was sentenced to 8 months in prison in one of his cases. It was supported by Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul and Earl Sweatshirt’s singles “When It Rain”, “Pneumonia” and “Really Doe”. Brown’s 2017 documentary “Live at the Majestic” was shelved by Apple Music. It was originally scheduled to be released in November 2017. Brown premiered his “Twitch EP” in August 2018. The track list includes “Funeral Lines”, “Cut It Up” and “Choppa Choppa”. Brown appeared in the crime drama “Rick the White Boy” (2018) starring Matthew McConaughey. He was selected as “Black Ed”.
