Beverly Ann Merrill was born on July 29, 1962 in Wayne, New Jersey. Her mother was 15 when she was born, and Beverly was adopted and raised in Pennsylvania. Merrill is of Sicilian ancestry through her biological mother. Her childhood was very difficult, and she later stated in her autobiography that she was repeatedly sexually abused by relatives, the first of which happened when she was just eight years old.
According to a book by Charles Kipp called Cop without a Badge, Merrill Staub once had a relationship with a man named Kevin Maher (Kevin Maher) FBI informant married. The book also states that Beverley was arrested while modeling in Miami in the mid-’80s. During this time, she also allegedly worked as a “senior escort”. Although the details of her arrest are not entirely clear, some reports suggest she was associated with Daniel Claudio Aguilar at the time, a prominent cocaine dealer with ties to the Medellin cartel.
Merrill later claimed she was “in the wrong place at the wrong time”. However, she appears to have been arrested on suspicion of racketeering and kidnapping investigations. Authorities found Beverley in a house with 6kg of cocaine. She then allegedly struck a deal with authorities to help them prosecute Aguilar and was sentenced to five years of probation.

Before joining the cast of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” Staub actually had a brief role in an episode of “All My Children.” Bravo gave no official reason for her abrupt departure from the show after the first two seasons. In 2011, it was announced that she had agreed to appear as a fully nude stripper and engage in online adult content. However, she withdrew while saying she was seeking psychological help for substance abuse issues.

Legal Issues
In 2009, an ex-boyfriend named Steve Zalewski attempted to release nude photos, videos and sex tapes featuring Staub. A judge ruled that distribution of the images should be banned, although some preview images made their way to the internet.
Also in 2009, Kevin Maher sued Staub for defamation. The lawsuit was settled out of court. He sued her a second time after she released her autobiography, The Naked Truth.

In 2009, Danielle reportedly listed a mansion in New Jersey for $1.495 million. Located in the prestigious Horizon Heights community of Wayne, this Tudor style home features 10,500 square feet of living space and seven bedrooms. Additional amenities include a billiards room, fireplace, wet bar and cabanas. Staub and her ex-husband originally bought the home in 1998 for $1.025 million. At the time, it was believed that the sale of the house was related to her divorce agreement, which had been finalized for half a year.
In 2020, Danielle was reportedly forcibly evicted from her home in Englewood, New Jersey. This is due to her and Marty Caffrey breaking their marriage agreement after their third divorce. After the divorce was finalized, Caffrey had been trying to sell the house, but Staub allegedly repeatedly blocked inspections for more than a year. Despite this, the house has received numerous offers.
