With sales of nearly $8 billion, the company is the largest privately held company in Houston, Texas. The company profits from the processing and distribution of every Toyota it sells in those states, which it has done since 1968. The company was founded by Dan’s father Thomas Hoyt Friedkin and handed over to Dan in 2001.
