What is Chuck Negron’s net worth?
Chuck Negron is an American singer-songwriter who has a net worth of $5 million. Chuck Negron is best known as one of the three lead singers of Three Dogs Night.
Chuck Negron was born on June 8, 1942 in New York City. He grew up in the Bronx, where he usually divided his time between two hobbies: singing in local doo-wop groups and playing basketball. Basketball led to Chuck being recruited to play college basketball at Allen Hancock College in Santa Maria, California, and later at California State University, Los Angeles. Eventually, though, Negron would turn to singing professionally.
While in Los Angeles, he met fellow singers Corey Wells and Danny Hutton, with whom he formed the band Three Dogs Night in 1968. The trio formed one of the most successful American rock bands of the late 1960s and early 1970s. They enjoyed huge star status, with 18 consecutive top 20 hits and number one hits such as “Mom Tell Me Not To Come”, “Joy World” and “Black and White”.

Fame, success, and a rock-and-roll lifestyle hit Negren hard, and by the time Three Dogs Night disbanded in 1976, he was heavily addicted to drugs. It took him about 126 pounds and more than 30 rehab programs to get rid of his $2,000 — a routine that has stuck firmly to his routine for nearly two decades.
In the early 1990s, he overcame his drug addiction and embarked on a solo career, recording three studio albums: “I’m Still in Your Heart” (1995), “Joy the World” (Christmas CD – 1996) and “I’m Still In Your Heart” (1995) The Long Way Back” (1999). His fourth solo work was a double CD titled Chuck Negron – Live In Concert, released by Sindrome Records. Negron also wrote his autobiography, The Three Dogs Nightmare” (1999), about his healing path from heroin addiction to a hopeless turn to God. Today, Chuck Negron is a dedicated family man who spends his time performing, speaking, and assisting with musicians (MAP), MusiCares and Cri-Help and other anti-drug organizations.
