Christie Brinkley is an American model, actress, designer and children’s activist. She rose to fame in the late 1970s and dominated the fashion world in the 1980s. Brinkley has appeared on hundreds of magazine covers, including several Sports Illustrated swimsuit issues. She has been the face of CoverGirl cosmetics for 25 years. Brinkley was born Christy Lee Hudson on February 2, 1954 in Monroe, Michigan. Her biological parents were Marjorie Bowling and Herbert Hudson. She was raised by her mom and husband Don Brinkley. She has an older brother named Greg. The family lives in Los Angeles, California, and Brinkley attended Palisades High School. In 1972 he moved to Paris, France to study art.
