Christopher Boykin aka “The Big Black” is an American reality TV star and bodyguard. He is best known for the MTV series Rob & Big and Fantasy Factory. He is best friends with skateboarder and entrepreneur Rob Dyrdek. Boykin was born on January 13, 1972 in Wiggins, Mississippi. Before his career, he served as a chef in the U.S. Navy.

Boykin starred alongside Rob Dyrdek on the MTV series Rob & Big. His role is that of a bodyguard. The show ran from November 2006 to April 2008 with 31 episodes. Boykin rejoins Rob Dyrdek’s reality series Fantasy Factory. He joined the main cast from season 4 onwards. Boykin’s TV credits also include Ridiculousness, Guy Code, B-List and Sk8 Life. He has appeared in the video games Skateboard and Skateboard 2. Both games were developed by EA Black Box.
