Born on May 21, 1958 in Avignon, France. Audigier is well-known and successful in the fashion industry. He started his career as a salesperson working in a local boutique in his hometown of Avignon. After he launched a marketing plan for Retro America and the Wild West, he had the opportunity to show off his skills. The executives of MacKeen Jeans noticed that Audigier was only 15 years old when they were hired as a denim designer. Later, he earned the nickname “King of Jeans” for free work offered by brands such as Diesel, Elio Fiorruci, Bisou Bisou and Levis. However, his success is mainly attributed to his brand Ed Hardy, which helped him establish his status as one of the world’s top fashion icons. In addition to Ed Hardy, Audugier also operates and owns many clothing brands, such as The Same Guy, Crystal Rock, Smet, C-Bar-A, Rock Fabulous, and the same name brand Christian Audigier. So far, all of the above brands have worked well. Unfortunately, Christian Audigier died of a bone cancer on July 9, 2015 at the age of 57.
