Brown continued to play for the Steelers through 1996. Brown joined the Seattle Seahawks in 1997 and remained with the team until 2004. From there, Brown bounced back from the New England Patriots in 2005 to the Steelers in 2006 and finally back in 2007 for the Patriots, his final NFL season so far in his career.
