Casey Neistat is an American YouTube user, film producer and video blogger. He co-founded Beme Inc, a multimedia company. His YouTube channel has more than 830,000 subscribers and more than 1.9 billion video views. His film works include Daddy Long Legs (2009) and Nervous (2016). Nestate was born on March 25, 1981 in Gales Ferry, Connecticut. His parents are Barry and Amy. He has three brothers and sisters, Fan, Dean and Jordan. Neistat attended Ledyard High School, but dropped out before earning his diploma. He later moved to New York City to engage in film production.

In 2014, Neistat co-founded the multimedia companies “Beme Inc.” and Matt Hackett. The company is headquartered at 368 Broadway, New York City. Their mobile app “Beme” was released in July 2015 and is available on the iOS platform. In May 2016, the Google Play store released a version for Android devices. The application allows users to record unedited short videos and share them with subscribers. Beme received seed funding from Lightspeed Venture Partners and VaynerRSE. By May 2016, they had raised more than 6 million U.S. dollars. Beme Inc. was acquired by CNN in 2016, and the Beme app went offline in January 2017.
