Carole Baskin is an American animal rights activist and head of animal sanctuary from Bexa County, Texas. She is the founding member and current CEO of “Big Cat Rescue” in the animal sanctuary. The non-profit organization is headquartered in Tampa, Florida. In addition, Baskin also appeared in the Netflix documentary series “Tiger King”. In August 2020, she was named a celebrity dancer on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” program.
Baskin was born on June 6, 1961 in Bexar County, Texas, his original name is Carol Styles Jones. More specifically, her mother gave birth to her at Lackland Air Force Base. Growing up, Carroll became interested in the field of veterinary medicine very early. However, after learning that veterinarians would also euthanize animals (humanely execute animals), she later gave up this career path. Carol dropped out of school before completing her HS diploma. On August 18, 2020, Carole Baskin was appointed as the celebrity dancer for the 29th season of Dancing with the Stars.
