Candice Patton is an American television actress. She played “Iris West” on the CW series The Flash. Her performance credits include “The Game”, the “Youth and Restlessness” series, and the film “Guest” (2014). Candice Kristina Patton was born on June 24, 1988 in Jackson, Mississippi. Her father, Ronald, was a retired FBI agent, and her mother, Patricia. Patton grew up in Plano, Texas. She completed a BA in Dramatic Arts at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.

Patton was scouted for the soap opera “The Boy and the Restless” while still in college. She starred in five episodes of “Robin” from 2004 to 2005.
