Bulent Eczacibasi Net Worth: Bulent Eczacibasi is a Turkish businessman who has a net worth of $1.8 billion. He made his fortune through family-owned Eczacibasi Holding, an industrial group with various investments in pharmaceuticals, personal care and consumer goods, as well as construction products and financial services. He was born Nejat Eczacibasi, founder of the Turkish Industrial Group in Istanbul, Turkey, in 1949 and took over the helm of the company from his father in the 1990s.
Prior to taking the helm of Eczacıbasi Holding, Bulent had the opportunity to hold various management positions within the Eczacibasi company. In fact, he has honed his management skills since entering MIT in 1974 with a master’s degree in chemical engineering. Together with his brother Faruk, Bulent holds a majority stake in the expanding group. Most recently, Eczacibasi acquired wipes maker Ataman Group and nuclear medicine protective equipment maker Capintec. Bulent is also one of Turkey’s foremost collectors, and he co-founded the Istanbul Museum of Modern Art with his wife Oya. What’s more, their personal art collection houses some 1,000 paintings and other works.
