That same year, he also received Golf Magazine and NCAA Coaching Awards for being the nation’s best amateur golfer. Brad turned pro in 1983. He won the BC Open in 1999 and 2000. In 2001, he won the Sony Open in Hawaii and the 2005 Buick Championship. Faxon played on the Champions Tour in 2011, where he won the Insperity Championship. He also won Liberty Mutual Insurance Legends of Golf in 2013. Faxon finished 5th at the 1995 PGA Championship. He also finished 7th at the British Open in 1994 and 9th at the 1993 Masters. He is also involved in charity work and is a golf analyst for NBC. Faxon will join Fox in 2015 as a golf commentator.
