With the completion of the second acquisition, the couple now own more than 14,000 square meters of land on the island. Just steps from the sea, this summer retreat includes two balconies and three bedrooms. It was originally built as a fisherman’s house.
In 2010, Bjorn’s original cottage in Viggsö was reportedly listed for SEK 7 million, and a second property next door was also owned by Bjorn. This particular cottage is small and unassuming, but it has a rich musical history. This is the original cabin where ABBA’s Benny and Björn wrote hits like “After the Dance”.
In 2011, Bjorn and his wife reportedly purchased a farm on the island of Jolo. Like Viggsö, this island also exists in the Stockholm Archipelago. Ulvaeus bought the property for SEK 26 million.
