Bill Geiser Net Worth: Bill Gaither is an American gospel music singer and songwriter who has a net worth of $10 million. Specializing in Southern Gospel and contemporary Christian music, Gaither is known for performing as a member of the Bill Gaither Trio and the Gaither Vocal Band.
Born William J. Gaither on March 28, 1936 in Alexandria, Indiana, he attended the Stamps School of Music in Dallas, Texas. Next, he attended Taylor University and then transferred to Anderson College, where he majored in English and minored in music. In addition, he holds a master’s degree in Guidance and Consulting. Before becoming a full-fledged musician, Gaither taught at Anderson College Junior High and Alexander High School. Speaking of music, he formed the gospel singing group Pathfinders in high school, the Gaither Trio in college, and the Gaither Vocal Band in 1981 after major concert success. To date, he has composed over 700 gospel songs, including “Because He Lives”, “He Moved Me”, “I’ve Served Him Longer”, “Sinners Saved by Grace”, “It’s Done” , “Something About Jesus” and “Let’s Praise the Lord.” In addition, he recorded more than 40 albums and collaborated once with the Benson Company in 1964. His love for gospel music was so strong that He eventually quit his teaching job to serve full-time in the Christian music industry. So he had the opportunity to work with Bob Mackenzie and form Paragon Associates. In 1991, Gaither assembled a group of gospel-singing artists and recorded gospel classics. The show aired on the family channel called Homecoming, and Gaither went on to produce the Homecoming tour and perform all over the country. He has won six Grammy Awards, two dozen Dove Awards, numerous recognitions and nominations, including In 2000, he was awarded the Gospel Songwriter of the Century by the American Society of Writers, Composers, and Publishers (ASCAP) and was inducted into the International Gospel Music Hall of Fame in 2002.
Bill is a husband and father of three and now lives with his family in Alexandria, Indiana, which has a convention center, gourmet coffee shop and gift shop.
