Benedict Cumberbatch is a British actor and film director. He is best known for his role as the protagonist of “Sherlock Holmes” in the crime drama series Sherlock. His film works include Doctor Strange, Star Trek Into The Darkness and Fifth Manor. Cumberbatch was born on July 19, 1976 in Hammersmith, London. His parents Timothy Carlton and Wanda Vincent are both actors. He has a younger sister named Tracy Peacock. Cumberbatch attended BlackBerry School and Harrow School.
