What is Barry Weiss’s net worth?
Barry Weiss is an American reality show star and professional treasure hunter with a net worth of US$10 million. Not to be confused with the music producer of the same name or the reporter of the same name, this Barrivis became the weird superstar in A&E’s smashing reality show series “Storage Wars”, and he reappeared in 2021 from 2010 to 2013.
In the show, Barry is called a “collector” because of his large collection of precious antiques. A&E later gave Weiss his own shows, “Barry’d Treasure” (2014) and “Storage Wars: Barry Strikes Back” (2015). He also appeared in the documentaries “Motorcycle Mania III” (2004) and “Beverly Hills” Garage “Medium-Bruce Meyer Project” (2019).
Profession
Before becoming reality TV stars, Weiss and his brother made a fortune in the agricultural product industry. He spent more than 25 years building a wholesale agricultural product business, and then retired to focus on warehouse hunting. This business eventually gave Barry enough money to retire and spend several years traveling the world. Once he got tired of traveling to exotic places, Wes returned home and started using his millions of dollars in net worth to indulge in his love for antiques and collectibles. Barry admitted that he didn’t make as much money as his “Storage War” co-star, because he ended up keeping most of the items he won.
The A&E website describes Weiss as “the type of meeting between Robert Evans and Jack Nicholson.” In the show, he is characterized by a witty and caustic one-line book and a “freedom” warehouse auction method. For example, it is well known that Barry brought the psychic to a storage auction to help him discern the value of items in a unit. He also uses night vision goggles, remote-controlled helicopters, and even a stilt man to help gain an advantage in the bidding. Weiss has extensive knowledge, including antiques from all ages, which is a by-product of his many years of antiques and warehouse auctions. Barry’s friendship with Tom Beers, the narrator and executive producer of “Story Wars,” led him to be selected for the show. Wes left after the end of the fourth season and began to star in the spin-off drama “Barry’s Treasure”, which aired eight episodes and followed Wes to find rare collectibles and antiques all over the country.

personal life
Barry has an impressive collection of cars (reportedly worth about $500,000) and is known for his new cars participating in every auction. His most famous car is the 1947 Custom Cowboy Cadillac, which often appears in “Storage Wars”.
In April 2019, Weiss was admitted to the hospital due to a serious injury from a motorcycle accident; he underwent several operations and was discharged nearly two months later. While recovering from the accident, he worked as a voice-over for his performance as a spokesperson for the Sherwood Valley Casino.
Barry is divorced and has two grown-up children, daughter Julie and son Jack. He is the godfather of Jesse James, has hosted the reality show “Monster Garage” and was married to Sandra Bullock.
