Balls Mahoney is an American professional wrestler best known for his participation in Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW). He is a three-time ECW Tag Team Champion. He was born Jonathan Rechner on April 11, 1972, in Spring Lake Heights, New Jersey.
Profession
Mahoney made his World Wrestling Council debut in 1987. He was 15 at the time. From 1987 to 1990, he wrestled under the alias “Abbudah Singh”. In 1994 he continued his young career at Smoky Mountain Wrestling under the pseudonym “Boo Bradley”. He is a two-time winner of “SMW Beat the Champ”. Mahoney briefly joined the World Wrestling Federation in 1995. He fought under the alias “Xanta Klaus” before his release in 1996.
Mahoney made his ECW debut in 1997. He wrestled side-by-side with “Axl Rotten,” a pair often referred to as “hardcore chair rockers.” He later won the ECW World Tag Team Championship with Masato Tanaka. His last match with ECW was the 2001 pay-per-view event, Guilty as Charged. Mahoney wrestled independently from 2001 to 2006. He joined WWE in 2005 to work on its ECW brand. After his release from WWE, he embarked on another solo career in 2008. His last match took place on December 6, 2015, at the DFC A Very Deathproof Christmas event.

Balls Mahoney passed away on April 12, 2016 at the age of 44, the day after his birthday. His official cause of death was a heart attack. He is survived by his wife Gail Shecht and son Christopher. His son is named after the late wrestler Chris Candido.
