Ashley Olsen is an American actress, fashion designer, businesswoman and producer. She rose to fame as “Michelle Tanner” on the ABC sitcom Full House. Her commercial ventures include fashion brands “The Row” and “Elizabeth and James”. Ashley was born on June 13, 1986, in Sherman Oaks, California to Jarnie and David Olsen. Her fraternal twin sister is actress Mary-Kate Olsen. Her other siblings are Taylor, Jack and Elizabeth Olsen. Ashley attended Bishop Campbell Hall Day School in Hollywood, California. She studied psychology at NYU but left before completing her degree.

Ashley started her career as a child star on the ABC sitcom Full House. She co-starred in “Michelle Tanner” with sister Mary-Kate. Their performances have won several young artist awards. The show ran for 192 episodes from 1987 to 1995. Ashley played “Ashley Burke” on the “Two Kinds” series and later played “Chloe Carlson” on “So Little Time”. Her feature film debut was It Takes Two (1995) starring Kirstie Alley and Steve Guttenberg. Ashley played “Jane Ellis Ryan” in the teen comedy “A Minute in New York” (2004).
