Ann Coulter is an American author, conservative commentator and lawyer. She is also a radio and television personality. Kurt was born to parents Nell and John on December 8, 1961, in New York City. She has two older brothers, John and James. Kurt grew up in New Canaan, Connecticut, where she attended New Canaan High School. She completed her undergraduate degree at Cornell University (1984), followed by her Juris Doctor degree (1988) at the University of Michigan Law School. While in college, she served as editor of the Cornell Review and the Michigan Law Review.

Profession
After graduation, Coulter briefly worked as a paralegal for Judge Pasco Bowman II in Kansas City. She later served on the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, specializing in crime and immigration under Senator Spencer Abraham. Coulter signed on as a legal correspondent for MSNBC in 1996. She was fired for controversial remarks against the Vietnam Veterans Foundation. Coulter has since appeared on CNN, Fox News and many radio and television talk shows. She was one of the bakers for Comedy Central’s 2016 actor Rob Lowe. Her film credits include Fahrenhype 9/11 (2004) with Ron Silver and Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! (2016) with Ian Ziering.

To date, Kurt has written twelve books. Her first publication, Felonies and Misdemeanors: The Case Against Bill Clinton, was published by Regnery Publishing in 1998. Other publications include Defamation: Liberal Lies About American Rights (2002) and Atheism: The Liberal Church (2006). Coulter’s latest book, In Trump We Trust (2016), tells the story of Donald Trump and his 2016 presidential campaign. Kurt is also known for his work as a columnist. She has contributed to Universal Press Syndicate, Human Events, and National Review Online.
