Andrew Ridgeley, formerly named Andrew John Ridgeley, was born on January 26, 1963 in Windlesham, Surrey, England. His mother Jennifer has Scottish descent and his father Alberto has Italian/Egyptian descent. Alberto’s surname was originally Zacharia, but he changed to Ridgeley. Jennifer teaches at Bushheath Elementary School, and Alberto works for Canon. Andrew’s brother Paul is a drummer and has toured with Bananarama.
